Our bodies need to experience being safe in order to heal, and to learn anything new. That is why creating the conditions of safety is so important to me when teaching a class or leading a workshop, just as important as in a private session.
I’ve thought a lot about this. Although I still am learning a lot, I did write an article that recently got published. The link to it is here: http://Roseninstitute.net/journal/journal-volumes. You’ll see an article I wrote on the Rosen Method Open Center as well as one on creating a safe container.
As long as we buy into perfectionism, competition, and role-playing instead of being genuine, we will not feel safe within ourselves or with other people. I hope reading the article will let you take a breath and settle into your body.
